Complaints bulletin

The Governors' Programme Complaints Committee is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of complaints handling by the BBC. This includes hearing appeals from complainants unhappy with the responses they have received to serious programme complaints.

Following the Governors' consultation on complaints handling conducted earlier on in the year, the Committee will now publish its report of appeals on a monthly basis.

The most recent report was published in January 2007 and contains details of appeals considered in December 2006.
