Statements of Programme Policy 2005/06

These are the BBC's programme plans for 2005/6 for each of its 26 services across all platforms.

They outline to UK licence payers how, in the year ahead, the BBC will fulfil its public purpose to inform, educate and entertain. As the BBC's Board of Governors, we are committed to monitoring the BBC's performance against these statements on behalf of licence fee payers and will publish our assessment - informed by our dialogue with audiences - in the 2005/2006 Annual Report and Accounts in July 2006.
