Have your say

The Board of Governors' key role is to ensure that the BBC acts solely in the interests of licence fee payers. The Governors carry out activities which enable them to engage in widespread consultation and discussion. This work is on-going and we will be reporting on all future projects, on this website, as soon as they happen.

This section of the site contains information on recent and current consultation activities.

Public meetings

As trustees of the public interest the Board of Governors have launched a range of initiatives to engage the licence fee payer more directly in shaping the BBC of the future. One of these is a wider programme of open meetings, held around the UK. The first of these meetings was held on the 19 July 2005, in London. Find out more

Public consultations

Over the forthcoming months this website will be publishing a series of consultations which we'll be inviting the public, industry and other interested parties to comment on. The consultations will run over an eight to twelve week period and will be led by the Governors' independent Unit. Find out more about the current consultations here
